Caroline Heimhofer

Curriculum Vitae

Caroline finished her Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zürich in 2020. During her studies, she received an exchange student scholarship and spent a semester at the National University of Singapore (NUS). For her Master’s studies, she was part of the Master Scholarship Programme (MSP) for excellent students. During one of her internships, Caroline became a team member of VariLeg enhanced. The team developed the exoskeleton representing ETH and HSR (University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil) at Cybathlon 2020. She continued with a further research internship in the Laboratory for Movement Biomechanics at ETH. In the same lab, she conducted her Master’s thesis during which she investigated dynamic gait stability using auditory-motor coupling and forms of non-linear analyses. Caroline joined the NCM lab in June 2020.

Research Interests

Caroline's research focuses on identifying central mechanisms of motor fatigability in humans.
