Jenny Imhof

Curriculum Vitae

Jenny finished her Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Technology at ETH
Zürich in 2023. During her masters, she focused on Neuroscience and joined the
Neural Control of Movement lab at ETH Zürich in 2021 as an intern. During her
internship, she investigated the effect of arousal modulation via pupil-based
neurofeedback on behavioural performance. Fascinated by the potential of pupil-
based neurofeedback, she conducted her Master’s thesis under the same project,
exploring whether arousal modulation via pupil-based neurofeedback influences
emotional responses. In June 2023, Jenny started her PhD in the Neural Control of
Movement lab.

Research Interest

Jenny is interested in motor fatigability, a phenomenon observed in everyday life
and a prevalent symptom of many brain disorders. For her PhD project, she will
investigate supraspinal mechanisms of fatigability and whether it is affected by
the willingness to exert effort.
