Raphaël Fournier
Curriculum Vitae
Fournier Raphaël is a doctoral student in the International PhD Program in Neuroscience with the ETHZ since October 2023. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Lausanne. His Bachelor project focused in the effect of motivation on the visuo-spatial memory. After a one-year internship at the Laboratory of the Brain and Cognitive Development (University of Lausanne), he then received his Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the Geneva University, where he studied how cognitive fatigue affects behavioral and physiological responses to pain. After and during his studies, he worked with different laboratories to increase his programming skills and widen his research fields of interest.
Research Interest
During his PhD, Raphaël is interested by how people perceive and interact within the social world. More specifically, he will focus on using an evidence accumulation modelling approach to study and analyze the different psychological processes that underlie the person recognition mechanism.
